Torsional-rotational spectrum of doubly deuterated dimethyl ether (CH<sub>3</sub>OCHD<sub>2</sub>)

Context. In 2013, we published the first rotational analysis and detection of mono-deuterated dimethyl ether in solar-type protostar IRAS 16293-2422 with IRAM 30 m telescope. Dimethyl is one most abundant complex organic molecules star-forming regions, its D-to-H (D/H) ratios are important to understand chemistry trace source history. Aims. We present doubly deuterated (methoxy- d 2 -methane, 1,1-dideuteromethylether) ground-vibrational state, based on an effective Hamiltonian for asymmetric rotor molecule internal rotors. The covers frequency range 0.15–1.5 THz. Methods. laboratory spectrum this species was measured between 150 1500 GHz Lille’s submillimeter spectrometer. For astronomical detection, used Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array observations from Protostellar Interferometric Line Survey. Results. New sets spectroscopic parameters have been determined by a least squares fit ERHAM code both symmetric conformers. As species, these permitted identification space conformers via near B component Class 0 16293-2422.
